went to church and showed up.

about 10 minutes into the sermon he
I said well leave him alone
he ain't hurting nothing.
Brother Lucky the preacher said no
the young people notice him
and they get to watching him
and they ain't paying attention
to the sermon I'm preaching and
I've got to do something
to startle him where he'll stay
awake.

So brother Lucky done figured it out

of the Sunday morning
he was up preaching
he was waxing eloquent
he was really doing it
had his thumb hung over the corner of the
Bible and he said in a normal voice
all of y 'all that would like to go
to heaven
please stand up everybody
stood up.
Uncle Percy's sitting down sleeping

then brother Lucky said all y 'all

that want to go to hell.
Stand up and it started with Uncle Percy
and he woke up and jumped up
and everybody done sat down.
Uncle Percy looked at
Brother Lucky
and he said
I don't know what we voting on preacher
but me and you are
the only ones again it.
